Supplies you will need.

​1.   Hangers:  Plastic Store hangers  that clothes are bought on work the best for the adult sale. Ask when you are buying something if you can keep the hangers. Ask the store if they have extra hangers. Some stores pitch the hangers at the end of the night.

Wire hangers are NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THIS SALE they don't hold clothing neatly for display.
      Ask your family and neighbors.
     Contact us, we may have some that we have collected over the off season. ​
     We give them out till all are gone.
2. Ziploc Baggies/ Clear recycle bags: You will need ALL SIZES from snack size to the XX large storage size. Zip lock baggies are great to use for small pieces of games, puzzles and to attach accessories to clothing.      
3. Safety pins:  Please use medium to large safety pins. Check Walmart Craft Section or JoAnns.

Cleaners Supply company runs sales on bulk pins.
     NO tiny gold craft pins because these do not hold the clothes securely to hangers. 
     NO straight pins or clothes pins. 
4. Tagging Gun can be used:             
     Tagging Gun with 1/2 - 1 inch barbs can be used to attach the tags. Do not use tagging barbs to hold clothing in hangers. It does not work. If you would please use only the short 1/2 in to 1 in barbs only. Contact me if you need 1 in barbs, I ordered 1 in barbs to have them in stock. 

2 inch barbs cause  them to hang to loosely and the tags fall off and cause the material to rip.

They can be used to attach your  tags at the seams or the size tags at the collar. Please be aware of where you attach the tags when using tagging gun to prevent holes.

5. Blue Painters Tape: can be used to attach tags to the inside cover of book or onto the back of puzzles.

6.  Zip Ties and / or curling ribbon: can be used to secure shoes together or keep pieces together.
Card stock: 65-67 weight WHITE works the best. PLEASE USE WHITE PAPER.

Heavier paper(110 wt) can be used but uses more ink and printer may not work with it. Available at Office Max.
8. Computer and Printer: You will use an online database to enter your inventory and  create the bar code tags at home. We do not accept hand printed tags.

Inventory limit has been set to 250 items as of June 2019 

This limit has been set because winter clothing is bulky and fill the racks faster and are heavier.

Consignor Registration will OPEN on Sunday July 28 , 2019
  @ 6 PM.

We will be limiting the number of consignors this season to 80 consignors.


Sign up for direct deposit by SUNDAY Sept 8 , 2019.
Westmoreland Sale for Kids will be offering direct deposit.
We offer direct deposit and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.We have NO control of the USPS and the delivery of your check. Once it is in their system it can take weeks to receive payment. Direct deposit will be set up by email. I will not collect your banking information you will enter the information needed by email through my bank.
You will receive your direct deposit for your profit 14-21 business days from close of the sales. 
Consignors sold inventory reports can be viewed and printed from your consignor home page, once the checks/deposits are made for 2 weeks after the direct deposits and checks are completed.
Westmoreland Sale for Teens & Adults offers families a way to sell their New  and Gently Used items to a greater audience than their neighborhood yard sales.

We offer consignors a place, the equipment and the advertising to earn something back on their unused items. 
No need to shop over priced malls and department stores!
No more running from garage sale to garage sale! 
Everything is inside one building at Westmoreland Fairgrounds.

How to consign with us,

  • Register as a consignor, 
    • If you have not consigned with us in the past, you will need to create a  consignor account. New Consignor Log In. You will need your name, address, email, phone number,  to create a password(write it down) and Write down your consignor number once you register. You will need it to enter inventory.
  • Returning consignors can register for the current sale using the Return Consignor Log-In ​

The following steps can be done through your Consignor Homepage once you are registered. 

  • Read and sign your consignor agreement. Every consignor must electronically sign this document to participate in the sale. You will be required to sign a hard copy when you drop off your inventory to activate your tags. You can print a copy for yourself on your homepage. 
  • Sign up as a Team Member: helping is not required, but highly recommended. There are many benefits to joining us; including getting to shopping earlier. Also  by being a team member you will earn an additional 5% for each 3 hour shift you work.  Max amount for volunteering is 10%. Making the max earning 70%. ​Without you helping sell your items we will not be able to continue to offer this sale. Consignors can sign up to work on their consignor homepage.
  • Enter your items into our online inventory system.We cannot accept any handwritten tags or tags from other consignment sales. Grouping your items by gender, size and category will help expedite your time entering them online. Use clear descriptions, including brand, style and color if possible. The better your description, the more likely we’ll be able to match it in the system if a tag is lost.  See Consignor Guidelines.
  • Print your tags. Use white cardstock to print all of your tags. It is available at Wal-Mart Georgia-Pacific cardstock, 8.5 x 11, 65 wt, 40 Sheets $3.97.  Prices may be different in your area. Tags print 6 to a page.
  • Prepare your items. INVENTORY LIMIT IS NOW SET TO 250 ITEMS 
    • Read our directions in the Consignor Guidelines for what we can accept and how to prepare your items for the sale. Clean, press, and organize your items.
    • Check your items in a brightly-lit room for stains and other issues.
    • The better you prepare (and price) your items, the higher your check will be.
    • Check for recalls. 
    • All clothing must hang securely on hangers with the hook pointing to the left like a question mark.
    • We recommend using the pricing guidelines Found Here.
  • Tag your items. Note: Items must be tagged using card stock only. If you are using a tagging gun, attach our bar code tags to the garment’s label or in a right-side seam only. Do not use a tagging gun in any other place!! Items with tags printed on copy paper will be rejected at drop-off.

How to prepare for drop off .

Before coming to fairgrounds for drop off,

  • Group like items together. Example -Female tops, size small , size medium, large, etc.  Female bottoms small , med, large, XL, ETC. Male Tops, small, med, large,  Male Bottoms size 32 , male bottoms size 36, etc. 
  • Print out form for items $20 or more, have it filled out and ready for check in.

​When you come to fairgrounds building #2

  • Come to the check in table and sign in so that your tags are activated for the sale. 
  • Bring your items in after signing in. We ask that you help place your items on the racks. We do have volunteers to help you and show you where items go.
